This seminar discusses recent developments in Nonlinear Optimization and serves as a preparation for a Bachelor's or Master's thesis in this field. The presentations cover, in particular, current topics and recent trends in the following areas: advances in theory; novel numerical optimization methods; important new concepts; applications in technology, engineering, natural sciences, and economy.
